I’ve been heads down making sooooo many updates to Sanskrit Lexicon, that it’s hard to even know where to begin… So I’ll begin with the most exciting one. A feature that we all want, but that no other Sanskrit Dictionary out there has! Reverse search!
Instead of just searching directly for a Sanskrit word, you can search for anything in the language of your choice and it’ll show you the likely matches! “The churning of the ocean,” “Remover of Obstacles,” “Goddess of Wealth,” “My teacher told me that Ganesha sits on a mouse. How do I say mouse in Sanskrit?” - anything similar but in the language of your choice (Russian / German / French / Hindi) all works!
When you click into the word done via this descriptive search, it’ll also, by default, create a custom category for definitions related to your search inside the word definitions. Try it out!

Sharing cards! Now when you share a word or a definition, these beautiful cards are created for you:
Saved Searches! Your searches are now saved. Slide to remove any searches you don’t want to keep. Within the search, slide to remove any words you don’t want to keep. This lets you keep your words organized in search “folders” that you can refer back to when needed.
